I'm serious about checking your ego and scheduling your colonoscopy now, and suggesting your dearest do the same thing.

I look forward to hearing your takeaways from this post 💜 🤗 ...

And what you'd like to unpack and flush 🚽🪠🧻

Another home run, Donna. You’ve taken a topic few speak of and made it a practical to do, list and all. Thank you :)

Aww, you made my week, Nicola! Rather than niche down, I'm here to share what inspires me.

Besides, the gastro Dr and his team failed to properly prepare me. I had originally pubbed this in short form in a local tabloid Senior Voice.

I took a cc of the tabloid to my follow up and the Dr said we must do this.

I'm sending him a link to this newsletter and offering to produce a PDF they can share. 📣

Such a beautifully written piece and I love the metaphor Donna.

Don’t forget the joy of having the pancake flat stomach of a 15 year old for a few hours. There is a reason supermodels love laxatives.💗

I really enjoyed your article and you were very raw about it, thank you. I remember going through my colonoscopy, having to slow down and being left with the toilet and my thoughts. At the time, my mental junk was extremely heavy to carry around, a good flushing was needed and very freeing. Thank you for the reminder.🩵

Mental junk is HEAVY, Michelle. And it overloads our brain RAM - random access memory. We were born with a biological supercomputer but it came without a manual. 🤣

I'm glad you benefited from the lone time

Thank you for the checklist, Donna! (No one really shares these specifics — so helpful.)

Also, this was my big takeaway: What mental junk are you ready to flush?

Taking a moment to think about the mental crap I’m ready to release.

You're welcome, Mae! My gastroenterologist asked me to turn this into a PDF he can hand out to his patients. How good is that?!!

Then, flush it, baby!

Thank you Joanna! I do have fun with metaphors 😂

"Pancake flat stomach"

Haha. Not quiet, but even though it's been several months, my favorite jean shorts are still loose around the waist.

How good is that?!!
